"...the mystical White Elk was always something to be desired, yet always out of reach"
A symbol of strength and empowerment, in many indigenous tribes the Elk is revered as a powerful creature, able to dispel negativity and attract good fortune into ones life.
Once upon a time, warriors were frenzied for the wild hunt - the prize for capturing the creature? ..notoriety for his hunting prowess! The mystical white elk was always something to be desired yet somehow always out of reach, further fuelling every mans obsession.
Elk stands tall, her head held high - aware she is guardian of the forest; untouchable. The most regal member of the deer family, it is a white elk sighting that to this day remains a sign of divine protection. She is a symbol of inner strength, wisdom and grace.
The Norse people of Scandinavia call the enchanting animal “King of the Forest,” but we say she’s Reigning Queen.
